Flowara is a productivity app for freelancers and small teams, helping you manage projects, tasks, time tracking, estimates, invoices, and reports — all locally on your device. Flowara also includes an optional AI assistant that you can connect to third-party AI providers using your own credentials.
We do not collect any personal data.
This remains true for all core features. The optional AI assistant is the only feature that may transmit data outside your device, and only when you explicitly configure and use it.
Information We Collect We collect no personal information from you. This includes:
- No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details
- No device identifiers, IP addresses, or advertising IDs
- No location data
- No usage analytics or crash reports sent to us
- No financial information or payment details (invoices/estimates are created and stored only on your device)
All data you enter (clients, projects, tasks, time logs, estimates, invoices, reports) stays exclusively on your device. Nothing is transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
Information Usage Since we collect nothing, we do not use, store, share, sell, or disclose any personal information.
Third-Party Services Flowara does not integrate with or use any third-party services that collect data (no analytics SDKs, no cloud providers for user data, no advertising networks).
The only exception is the optional AI assistant. If you configure it to use Claude (Anthropic) or OpenAI, your queries are processed by those providers under their respective terms and privacy policies.
If the app uses standard iOS/macOS features (e.g., printing, PDF export, or iCloud for optional device sync of your own files), those are handled by Apple under their privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
Optional AI Assistant
Flowara includes an optional AI assistant. This feature is disabled by default and requires you to actively configure it with your own credentials. You have three options:
Claude (Anthropic) If you choose to use Claude, your conversation messages and relevant app context (such as project names, invoice amounts, or task descriptions that you include in your query) are sent to Anthropic’s servers for processing. GPT-4 / GPT-4o (OpenAI) If you choose to use OpenAI, your conversation messages and any context you include are sent to OpenAI’s servers for processing. OpenAI’s privacy policy applies: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
Ollama (local model) If you choose to use Ollama, all processing happens entirely on your device. No data is sent to any external server.
In all cases:
We recommend avoiding including sensitive personal or financial data in AI queries when using a cloud provider.
The AI feature requires you to supply your own API key. Flowara does not provide or store API keys on any server.
You control what context is shared. The AI only sees what your queries include.
Flowara itself does not log, store, or transmit your AI conversations.
Children’s Privacy Flowara is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your Rights Since we do not collect or hold any of your personal data, there is no data for you to access, correct, delete, or port.
Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of Flowara after changes constitutes acceptance.
